Carefully selected, it presents high-quality American corn. It is then matured to perfection. Each batch of US1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is grouped in a retention tank designed to hold a maximum of twenty full barrels, leaving no margin for “combining” imperfection, and therefore demanding excellence from each barrel. Reflecting the spirit of the Bluegrass state, the Michter’s US1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is subtle, smooth, and earthy. Aged in new American white oak charred barrels. Rich caramel notes with balanced vanilla, fruit pit notes, smoky depth, and a finish in oak. The Michter’s US1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is also available with custom Fort Nelson Select labeling at the Michter’s Fort Nelson Distillery.
