Jack Daniel’s is known to be a well-crafted and smooth Tennessee whiskey. A whiskey does not last more than 150 years if it is not a quality product. Jack Daniels has become known for something else along the way as well: the iconic black and white label. But what people may not know is that the history of the seal has not always been so black and white. Some time before 1904, the bottles were of an unexpected shade of green, with an attractive gold finish. And as unusual as it may sound, it’s just one of the many labels in the Old No. 7’s past. This is the first in the Legacy Edition Bottles series. Each released label will celebrate the unique and slightly mysterious story of Old Number 7.

The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Anos
Balvenie Caribean Cask was matured in traditional whiskey oak barrels for 14 years, then passed to barrels that previously contained Caribbean rum. To create an ideal ending, Master Malt, David Stewart, filled American oak casks with his own mix of selected West Indian runs. When he thought the hulls were ready, the rum was replaced with 14-year-old whiskey and completed the work with the finishing touches. The result is a single malt whiskey, with a traditional and exceptional smoothness, a soft honey character, married with notes of toffee and a touch of fruits, with a warm and long finish. On the nose it has rich and creamy notes of toffee, which combine with notes of fresh fruits. Rounded palate with sweet notes of vanilla and oak and a fruity character that develops over time. Soft and persistent finish.
