In 1743, in southern Poland, on the slopes of the Carpathian Mountains, a group of elderly people discovered that the secret of fine vodka was determined by a unique five-step distillation process using sweet, late rye from the neighboring fields of Wielkopolska. This gave it a softer, smoother flavor than traditional beans. They combine the superb spirit with water from a mountain spring that is exceptionally pure and smooth. Carefully blending the distillate with this water produces Pravda – the smoothest vodka ever produced.
