Tequila was born from the distillation process of a very old Mexican plant, the blue agave, introduced by the Spanish in colonial times. In 1795 Cuervo labels began to be placed on each barrel of tequila produced by Jose Cuervo. However, it was at the beginning of the twentieth century that tequila began to be more consumed. Since then Cuervo has been winning several international awards in recognition of its quality, becoming today the largest brand of tequila in the world. Tequila José Cuervo Platino is a white tequila with a mild and slightly sweet taste, with a pure and refreshing final taste.
