Beefeater Crown Jewel
78,78 €
A rare bottle originally made by Beefeater in 1993, which was discontinued in 2009 with the introduction of Beefeater 24. A slightly different botanical selection creates a palate full of fresh citrus, candied peels and a dash of Pepper. The bird in the bottle is a reference to crows in the Tower of London, where usually the “Yeomen Warders” featured in the regular Beefeater gin bottles. Legend has it that if the crows left the tower, the crown and the Great Britain fell.

Rhubarb essence adds a tart, crunchy edge to our smooth gin base, while ginger extract warms the palate for a full-bodied finish. Johnny Neill's gin evokes childhood memories of visiting his grandparents on their farm, taking a firm Whitley family favorite in rhubarb and giving it a warm twist with the addition of fresh ginger.
