Serra da Estrela Portuguese Spirit of Medronho Premium with 2 cups
Strawberry trees from the surrounding villages of Serra da Estrela are mainly responsible for the quality of this premium brandy. After harvesting, the fruit is crushed and put into fermentation. After being fermented, the medronho is carefully distilled in a traditional copper still, obtaining a final product of superior quality and inevitably limited quantity.
Adamus Aguardente Bagaceira
Its origin dates back to distant times in the history of Portugal, the current and inadequate, less noble and undervalued image of a rustic drink full of history would have to be restored. After 4 generations of producing traditional grape spirits, the time has come to produce a grape that combines the best of traditional spirits, with more modernist details, and without losing the soul of a pure Lusitanian bagasse and specifically from Bairrada. The best grape marc from the best Baga da Bairrada wines was selected, and the whole winemaking and maturation process was carefully monitored. Several slow and detailed distillations were carried out in copper vessels by direct vapor trail and the best distillates were selected, both in test and analytically in the laboratory. With a fresh and vinous aroma, it has notes of fresh bagasse and nuances of grape must, allied with a good floral component (some orange blossom) and passion fruit. Contains sulfites.
São Domingos VelhÃssima
The slow and natural aging of this brandy in limousin French oak casks for at least 5 years develops amazing aromatic richness, flavors and colors, saving the initial essence of wine without losing its true palate, concentrating rich floral aromas and ending with a touch of vanilla, marking a style of St. Dominic. Aroma with toasted notes, dried fruits on a balsamic background, with soft notes. In mouth maintains austere style with a sweet finish. Contains sulfites.
Ferreirinha Old Brandy
Considered one of the best Portuguese old brandies, Ferreirinha Old Brandy from Vinhos Verdes has an attractive golden yellow color, with greenish tones, typical of prolonged aging in wooden casks. It is a delicate brandy, with a rich aroma where vinous notes predominate, softened and complexed by its aging by oxidation in wooden vessels. Despite its long ageing, it is a smooth brandy with a fine and delicate finish, with the typical persistence of an old brandy made from Vinho Verde of excellent quality.
