The Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill Vintage 2015 is the 21st edition of the house’s Prestige Cuvée, created as a tribute to its most famous client. This Champagne reflects the qualities Churchill sought: robustness, maturity, and a full-bodied character. Crafted exclusively from Grand Cru Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards, this wine is produced only in exceptional vintages and benefits from extended aging in the deepest cellars of Épernay.
The production follows rigorous traditional methods, including two cold settlings and a slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks, keeping each variety and village separate. After full malolactic fermentation, the secondary fermentation takes place 33 meters underground, where manual riddling—a rarity today—ensures the fine and persistent mousse for which this wine is legendary.
