Ferreira Vintage 2011 Ruby

Dow’s Quinta Senhora da Ribeira Vintage 2022 Ruby is the result of a harvest that captured the essence of this unique terroir, blending tradition with modern techniques. The result is a Port distinguished by its freshness and richness, reflecting the authenticity of its origin. Every detail, from hand-picking to winemaking, is meticulously controlled to ensure a wine of excellence.
Tasting notes reveal fragrant floral aromas, highlighted by roses and orange blossom, wrapped in silky fruit with vibrant acidity. This Vintage Port is seductive and graceful, with an irresistible charm that promises to delight the most discerning palates.

Fermented wine with partial destemming at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC) when the must reaches the desired sweetness value, fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy (77%), later aging in oak wood, in the warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia until it is bottled, between the 2nd and 3rd year, after approval. The Vintage Messias 2007 has a dark color and is complex in terms of smell, although the presence of red fruits is clearly noticeable. In the mouth it conveys strength and robustness, being a wine with an excellent taste balance where well-balanced tannins predominate, ending in a long and pleasant finish. It can be drunk now, but it does foresee a notable evolution in the bottle.

Cockburn's Vintage 2017 has a red fruit aromas with notes of clove and ginger. In the mouth it combines well focused red fruit flavors with a dry character and a long finish punctuated by the "grip" claw - Cockburn's signature style. Powerful and complex, house-style structure.
