The grapes were placed in a small traditional winery on the Quinta and the foot treading was carried out by a group of 6 men for 3 hours. Fermentation took place under a temperature control of between 25° and 28°C. Vintage Nacional aged 18 months in old barrels before bottling, in the Quinta’s air-conditioned warehouses, in the Demarcated region of the Douro Valley. The first tastings revealed some wonderful wines. They have a pronounced aromatic intensity of ripe red fruits and a remarkable vivacity. The excellent quality of tannins contributes to well-structured red wines and Port wines with a potential for long aging. Contains sulfites.

Fermented wine with partial destemming at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC) when the must reaches the desired sweetness value, fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy (77%), later aging in oak wood, in the warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia until it is bottled, between the 2nd and 3rd year, after approval. Wine with a golden color, with a good evolution of the reduction aromas, with touches of forest fruits and chocolate nuances. The aromas of dried fruits are present, with emphasis on walnuts. In the mouth, all predicates revealed in the aroma are confirmed.

Manual harvesting transported in small boxes. Laceration in stainless steel mill and vat at an approximate temperature of 28-30ºC. Stage of 1 year in hull, with filling in the second year. The great majority of the grapes come from the Pinhão River Valley where the Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz are able to withstand the heat that has occurred in the summer. These grapes have been added to other Douro valleys, which translates into a classic blend of the region. The fermentation took place in a mix of closed vats to guarantee the freshness and aromatic component, mill to guarantee greater complexity and structure. After a slow aging and care in our cellars in the Douro, this Vintage now has an intense and mature fruity, in addition to a floral that conveys excellent freshness. It shows a strong concentration and structure in the mouth accompanied always with a rich and aromatic component variability. A classic vintage definitely remembering other decades. Contains sulfites.
