Castello d’Alba Vintage Port is only declared and bottled when the harvest is of the highest quality, as was the case in 2011. This wine results from a selection of the finest noble grape varieties from the Douro Superior, very ripe and healthy. Vinification of the grapes takes place at a controlled temperature around 28-30ºC, with a very long extraction, followed by the addition of 77% brandy at low temperature to preserve all primary and secondary aromas. Contains sulfites.
