The familiar and sentimental ties are narrow, it was here that everything began. One Alves de Sousa raised it and gave it its name. An Alves de Sousa made it known to the world in the form of one of the most emblematic wines of the Douro. Amber color with red highlights. Complex aroma with caramel, spices and macerated raspberries. Beautiful evolution showing, side by side, traces of maturity and youth. Very complex, charming and with great class. Contains sulfites.

Quinta das Carvalhas 30 Years Old
When fine Porto wines are aged in oak barrels over many years, they gradually lose their original deep purple color and acquire the delicate amber hue known as tawny. At the same time, the simple fruitfulness of young Porto gradually recedes, giving way to a wide range of subtle and smooth flavors such as licorice, nuts, honey, figs, vanilla, spices and refined oak.
Portos with an indication of age are blends from several years that have developed a refined flavor, the result of aging in selected oak barrels, which give the maturity and character typical of old tawnies.

Messias 40 Years Tawny
Alcoholic fermentation interrupted by the addition of brandy, batch aged in wood Over 40 years before being bottled. Light golden wine with greenish hints. This wine has noble tertiary aromas, beautiful spice notes and subtle wood. In the mouth it is an intense wine, with an evident presence of wood combined with notes of dried fruits and with a very prolonged finish.
Martha’s Decanter 20 Anos + Copo Tawny
Martha’s 20 Year Old Tawny Port is considered the “jewel of the family”, a greater port in all meanings. Aged for an average of 20 years in wooden casks, it has an intense amber tawny color and rich and extravagant nose of complex nutty aromas, with a well-balanced and elegant finish. Contains sulfites.
Portal 40 Anos Tawny
Manual harvest and then transported in boxes. Alcoholic fermentation. Maceration with an approximate temperature. 28-30ºC. Aging in old wooden casks until bottling. Amber in color with a strong greenish olive nuance, this Port has an excellent aroma of dried fruits like almond and spices. Full and very complex, reminiscent of honey and dried fruits again. Excellent and conventual aftertaste that conveys a little of the grandeur that is the Douro. Contains sulfites.

Sandeman Porto Tawny 10 Years is a vibrant premium aged wine, where ripe fruit balance and aged oak intensity underscore Sandeman's quality. The intense red tawny color with brick tones, typical of this aged and young wine style, anticipates the elegant and complex aroma, combining ripe fruits, jelly and walnuts with notes of vanilla and raisins. Sandeman Porto Tawny 10 Years is produced by the traditional method of Port. the grapes harvested by hand are subjected to removal of stalk and crushing before fermentation, temperature, with maceration of the skin, in order to extract the best components. The addition of wine alcohol at the ideal time establishes the balance between the body of the wine and the bouquet. This moment is chosen by the oenologist after rigorous control of fermentation temperatures and densities, the second depends on the grape variety, the stage of maturation and the final sweetness required.
