Messias 40 Years Tawny

Pacheca 30 year old Tawny Port is a wine resulting from several Port wines that aged in old 550 liter barrels over many years in the cool warehouse at Quinta da Pacheca. During aging, the wine loses its color, becoming orange/red. Traditional red grape varieties from the Douro region originating from old vines. Its original red color gives way to amber tones. Its flavor is enriched by a combination of nuts, dried fruits and the aromas of red fruits. .

Wine obtained from a blend of several high quality vintages, aged in oak casks in order to obtain the respective average age. Contains sulfites.

Manual harvest and then transported in boxes. Alcoholic fermentation. Maceration with an approximate temperature. 28-30ºC. Aging in old wooden casks until bottling. Amber in color with a strong greenish olive nuance, this Port has an excellent aroma of dried fruits like almond and spices. Full and very complex, reminiscent of honey and dried fruits again. Excellent and conventual aftertaste that conveys a little of the grandeur that is the Douro. Contains sulfites.

Light color, amber with orange tones. A magnificently fragrant, classy nose, displaying a wide variety of nuts. Palate excellent, ripe, concentrated, rich and silky, with notes of honey. Simply delicious, with a lingering finish. Contains sulfites.
