Barbeito Boal Vinha do Charlot Harvest 2005
The Barbeito Boal Vinha do Charlot Harvest 2005 is a celebration of uniqueness and legacy. Manuel Sardinha Duarte, known affectionately as "Charlot", gave its name to this exceptional Boal vineyard located in Calheta, on the Jardim Pelado site. This region, notable for its dry and hot climate, is the birthplace of rich, complex wines that challenge the limits of winemaking and aging. The 2005 harvest marks the first single cask bottling from this vineyard by Vinhos Barbeito, with 1300 meticulously numbered 500ml units, bottled in July 2023.
This wine is distinguished by its aging in 750 liter casks, which gives it a harmonious aroma with fresh notes of orange leaf and peach, balsamic nuances and a marked salinity. On the palate, it has a broad body, a spicy touch that persists until the end, complemented by caramelized dried fruits and dehydrated fruit, all perfectly balanced by a notable citrus acidity.

Exclusively Malvasia from different years of harvest and with an average age of 15 years. Vinification of open spouts with fermentation and temperature control. Aging in 650 liter oak barrels. Amber color, with brownish nuances. Fine, complex and rich woody aroma. Vanilla aromas, typical of wood ripening. Notes and dried fruits. Pleasant on the whole. In the mouth it is sweet, clean, elegant and balanced. Harmonious acidity and body that combine with sweetness and tannins. Notes of chocolate and dried fruits. Contains sulfites.
Barbeito 3 Anos Meio Doce
Grapes from several quality vineyards in the Estreito de Câmara de Lobos and São Vicente area. Grapes pressed in a pneumatic press. Interruption of fermentation through the addition of vinous alcohol (96%). This wine acquires its unique characteristics through the stewing process with a subsequent stage of 3 years in oak barrels before being blended and bottled. Light golden color. Notes of apricot jam, tropical fruit, honey and caramel. Elegant and smooth wine. Balanced finish between sweetness and freshness left by the acidity. Contains sulfites.
