Barbeito Single Harvest 2009
27,90 €
Grapes originating from unique vineyards, located on the south and north coasts of Madeira. Interruption of fermentation through the addition of vinous alcohol (96%). This Single Harvest results from the mixture of musts obtained with grapes from unique vineyards, located on the south and north coasts of Madeira. Ricardo Diogo harvested the grapes a week before they reached full maturation and used a continuous press, obtaining, with these two practices, greater acidity in the musts. In March 2010, he started the process of aging the wines using the Canteiro method, in old French oak casks. In November 2021, 3,001 units were bottled, all individually numbered. Gold color. Aroma of dried fruits, highlighting the nuts, suggestions of ripe quince, dried flower and citrus. Contains sulfites.
