Moscatel Quinta do Piloto Coleção da Família
At the beginning of the 20th century, Quinta do Piloto reserved 10 small 50 liter barrels for itself, which it filled with the finest muscat from its properties. Blandy’s Malmsey Rich 15 Anos
Blandy's Malvasia 15 years old fermentes with natural yeasts at a temperature between 18 and 21ºC in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature. Approximately after 48 hours, the fortification is carried out with wine alcohol (96%), in order to preserve the desired natural sugar content. It is aged for 15 years in American oak casks following the traditional 'Canteiro' process. This includes a delicate heating of the wine in the attic of the warehouses in Funchal. Over the years, the wine is transferred from the upper floors to the intermediate floors, and eventually to the floor level where it is cooler. After this 'gradual stuffing', the wine is filtered and clarified before being bottled. Clear color and intense golden brown and a pronounced tear. Characteristic bouquet of great complexity of nuts and wood, caramel and vanilla. Sweet, soft, full-bodied and complex, with a long finish of dried fruit and dark chocolate. Contains sulfites.

Blandy's Verdelho 10 years ferment with natural yeasts at a temperature of 18 to 21ºC in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature. It is aged for 10 years in American oak casks according to the traditional 'Canteiro' process. This includes a delicate heating of the wine in the attic of the warehouses in Funchal. Over the years, the wine is transferred from the upper floors to the intermediate floors, and eventually to the floor level where it is cooler. After this 'gradual stuffing', the wine is filtered and clarified before being bottled. Topaz color, clear and bright, with a golden halo. A fresh bouquet of dried fruits and spices, with inviting orange aromas. Medium dry, full-bodied and concentrated, its freshness combines perfectly with very balanced acidity. Long aftertaste, with exotic fruits and spices. Contains sulfites.
Moscatel Horácio Simões DOC
Fermented in a cement tank without temperature control, because the wort is pumped with grape brandy shortly after the start of the fermentation. After de-stemming, the grapes ferment with the film. During the winter (5-6 months) the wine is maintained with the pasta and then removed. The masses are pressed and this press wine is separated. Contains sulfites.
