Mouchão Vinho Licoroso Tonel Aged 2012 Red
25,45 €
For over 100 years these fortified wines have been produced in the Mouchão wine cellar. Its founder, Thomas Reynolds, passed on his great passion for fortified wines from Douro to the trisneto, known as “Bouncer”, and was the first to bottle this Dessert Wine – Dessert Wine in the 1950’s. This wine is produced exclusively from grapes of the caste Alicante Bouschet and stepped foot in traditional wineries. In the middle of the fermentation is added brandy, pure, young, brandy wine brandy, interrupting it and allowing some of the sugar in the grapes to continue naturally. Aging is made in old wooden barrels and pebbles for at least five years.
The result is a fortified wine that shows a delicious balance between the aroma of black olives, prunes, cacao and nuts, and the freshness of mint and eucalyptus. Contains sulfites.
