Sparkling Natural Cider Quinta da Moscadinha – Madeiran tradition with fine bubbles
Sparkling Natural Cider Quinta da Moscadinha is an excellent cider from Madeira Island, made from a careful selection of the best regional pears and apples grown in Camacha’s volcanic soils and mild Atlantic climate.
After gentle crushing and pressing, the must is cold-settled for 24 hours, followed by a first fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature. The second fermentation takes place in bottle, using the traditional (champagne) method, where the cider rests on the lees for 9 months before disgorgement, creating fine, elegant, and persistent bubbles.
