Our selection is guided by the experience and excellence of a sommelier with a distinguished career in the world of wine. With a qualification in Sommellerie from Turismo de Portugal and from WSET, he brings to the project extensive knowledge acquired over years in the restaurant and hospitality sector.
His career includes stints at some of the most prestigious gastronomic establishments, such as Quinta das Lágrimas and Mesa de Lemos, and he is recognized for his talent with the nomination for Sommelier of the Year in 2016 by WINE – Essência do Vinho.
In the same year, he assumed the role of Head Sommelier and F&B Manager at the restaurant of the exclusive Hotel Areias do Seixo, in Santa Cruz (Torres Vedras, Lisbon), consolidating his reputation in the sector.

Tasting Notes
Complex nose that unfolds with time, presenting aromatic notes of apricot, lemon leaf, spices, and wild flowers.
On the palate, it shows good freshness and persistence.
The "SOU" Project with the dynamic Joana Santiago (Quinta de Santiago) has already established itself among the great Portuguese whites, coming from the best Alvarinho parcel of the Quinta in alluvial terraces of granite and clay soil.

Highlighting notes of wild red berries, it combines aromas of tree red fruits, such as cherry and red plum, with fine and enigmatic balsamic notes.

This clarete wine presents a deep ruby color, balsamic notes, and some fresh menthol aromas.
