Rum

A four-year-old golden rum that's inspired by Bacardi founder Don Facundo's original recipe. Anejo Cuatro is a vibrant spirit with notes of honey, vanilla and oak spices, as well as a smooth palate that's rounded out by the inclusion of some five- and six-year-old rums.

With a blend of Plantation's oldest reserves, this rum is something else. The selected Runs aged and from the Caribbean are later meticulously mixed by the master distiller at the Château de Bonbonnet. Then it is matured in small French oak barrels for another 12 to 18 months. The double aging gives the rum an incomparably round and creamy taste. With the color of old mahogany, the Plantation XO reveals a nose with exotic notes of vanilla, oak and roasted coconut, enhanced by more complex cocoa, orange candied aromas and cigar box aromas.

El Ron Prohibido Silver has aromas of rose, anise, apple, raisins, plum, mint, vanilla, olive and some citrus notes, especially orange. Its taste is the perfect balance between the bitterness of lemon and the sweetness of sugar cane. Smooth finish with nuances of mint, nuts and lemon.

Aged in a solera system with 15 American oak barrels previously used for table wine. Aging in barrels that have been traditionally roasted gives this rum the dry tones and pleasant aromas that evoke forbidden flavors.
