Nicolau Almeida Leve Seco White
The grapes were harvested manually from a plot at the top of Quinta do Monte Xisto facing North and transported to the winery, located in Vila Nova de Foz Côa, in 20kg boxes. Vinification in cement vats with dough over 3 days, followed by pressing to finish the fermentation and subsequent addition of brandy. Internship in a cement vat in the warehouse in Vila Nova de Gaia, close to the sea, with excellent conditions of temperature and humidity. The wine is the result of a blend of 4 different harvests and falls into the Porto Branco Leve Seco category, as the aim is to make a wine with the lowest possible degree of sugar. This wine gives us a feeling of freshness, but at the same time some hints of maturation. A true blend in which the young man marries the adult. It combines aromas of fresh and dried fruits. With a more attentive nose, we are transported to oriental aromas such as black tea and exotic infusions. From the first approximation we get the sensation of volume and intensity. The palate is soft with a sequence of flavors of plum, fig, lemon, orange, chestnut...reflecting great complexity. At the end you can feel a slight warm and sweet touch, reminding us that it is a Port wine, but light. A unique wine. Contains sulfites.
Quinta do Noval Vintage Nacional 2019 Ruby
The grapes were placed in a small traditional winery on the Quinta and the foot treading was carried out by a group of 6 men for 3 hours. Fermentation took place under a temperature control of between 25° and 28°C. Vintage Nacional aged 18 months in old barrels before bottling, in the Quinta's air-conditioned warehouses, in the Demarcated region of the Douro Valley. The first tastings revealed some wonderful wines. They have a pronounced aromatic intensity of ripe red fruits and a remarkable vivacity. The excellent quality of tannins contributes to well-structured red wines and Port wines with a potential for long aging. Contains sulfites.

The wine ages for 18 months in oak casks, in the Quinta's climatized warehouses in the Douro demarcated region, before being bottled. obtain the best possible extraction of aromas, color and tannins. They have a pronounced aromatic intensity of ripe red fruits and a remarkable vivacity. The excellent quality of the tannins contributes to well-structured Port wines with a potential for long aging. The addition of wine alcohol at the ideal time establishes the balance between the body of the wine and the bouquet. This moment is chosen by the oenologist after rigorous control of fermentation temperatures and densities, the second depends on the grape variety, the stage of maturation and the final sweetness required.
