This Moscatel Roxo is the result of intense work distributed between the vineyard and the winery. The vineyard was accompanied and spoiled all the time so that the yields did not exceed 2500 liters / ha and the grapes arrived at the winery in the sanitary state and ideal maturation. In the Adega winemaking was idealized "own" for this product, different from what was customary in other companies in the region. It consists of an intense selection of bunches followed by a pre-fermentative maceration for 5 days, after which the fermentation is allowed to start very slowly homogeneously throughout the vat, reaching 3/4 of the fermentation in 3 days, benefiting this wine with the best wine spirits in this case Armagnac, followed by a post-fermentative maceration of 5 long months. Vista Alegre Colheita 2005 Tawny

From Quinta da Vista Alegre, Cima Corgo, vines over 80 years old, planted on old platforms, with a predominant southern exposure. The grapes from a single harvest are harvested manually and transported in small boxes and vinified according to the traditional Porto method. After partial destemming, the grapes are crushed on foot in stone tanks. The fermentation of the must takes place at a controlled temperature and is interrupted by the addition of brandy. This wine, as it is produced, has great aging potential. Wine from a single harvest, aged in oak casks for a minimum period of 7 years. It should be served at a temperature between 10°C and 12°C. Keep the bottle at a constant temperature and protected from strong light. Preferably consume within 6 to 8 weeks after opening. Contains sulfites.
