Quinta da Pedra Escrita Magnum White
Organic wine: Manual harvest for small 15 kg perforated boxes, fermentation with cold technology, in a reductive environment, with controlled temperature around 16ºC. The grapes are pressed without crushing and without destemming under an inert atmosphere in order to preserve all the aromatic potential of the grapes. A great effort is made to ensure that all pre-fermentation operations are carried out with the utmost rigor, being responsible for the intrinsic quality of the future wine. The entire wine is fermented in used French oak and remains there after a small racking over fine lees with periodic “battonage” stirring until the final blend is made. 6 months in French oak barrels, fermentation and agitation stage with fine lees, coming from the very sandy Upper Douro granitic soil at an average altitude of 575 meters. It has a citrus and mineral aroma, grapefruit notes, discrete exotic fruits and country flowers. Very persistent and fresh mouth with very lively citrus notes, resulting in a very elegant set.
Pasmados White
Fermentation at 18ºC. Aging for 3 months in 2nd year French oak barrels with bâtonnage, resting in our cellars the rest of the time. Straw yellow color, aroma of dried fruits (nuts, hazelnuts), very ripe pineapple, melon, harmonious, elegant, great evolution. Fruit present, some oak, good acidity, complexity. Long finish. Contains sulfites.
Monte da Ravasqueira Reserva da Família White
A timeless wine, produced only from selected areas of the vine, modern and disruptive, reflects the ever-deepening knowledge of the vineyard. A lot always composed by Alvarinho and Viognier varieties, which presents great freshness and exuberance after aging for 8 months in French oak barrels. This wine is the result of an ambitious work that seeks to reconcile innovation and tradition, values that characterize the José de Mello family. Contains Sulfites.
Monte da Ravasqueira Encantado White
Separate fermentation in stainless steel tank and transfer to French oak barrels (20% new / 80% used). Subsequent aging at low temperatures, remaining on the lees with light battonage for 4 months before bottling. The name Encantado tells the story that takes place in the roots of the vineyards in harmony with the cork oak forest and all the fauna and flora of this rich territory, which gives rise to unique wines. It is a wine with an intense minerality and an important herbal side, but it shows all the power of the yellow fruit and even a more tropical one. In the mouth it is super textured and showing that it can and should be a wine to be served at the table. Contains sulfites.
Monte da Ravasqueira Reserva White
Citrus color, bright, greenish straw. Nose with ripe fruit, light passion fruit and Viognier mango. Notes of lime and wafer maria with light smoked and ripe pineapple. In the test, it has a fresh and mineral attack, full of spicy texture, but always with the same varietal sensation that it feels in the nose, conveying elegance, balance and fulfillment during all the test, end tostado and floral. It has great potential for bottling. Contains Sulfites.
Monte da Ravasqueira White
In the test, it has a fresh attak, vibrant, with texture and especially with a lot of mineral character referring us to the granite influence of the vine of Monte da Ravasqueira. Many notes of stone fruit and light white pepper, very balanced and possible to feel the influence of each of the four breeds. Contains Sulfites.
Monte da Ravasqueira Viognier White
Straw green color very light, with bright lemon tones. Intense nose of apricot, white chocolate and apricot. Profile of great intensity, mineral, spicy and complex with notes of phosphorus head and light gunpowder. In the proof it is voluminous and textured, mineral and with predominance of notes of pineapple, mandarin and light mint. A wine to prove already, but with great guarding potential. Contains Sulfites.
The Chocolate Block Red
The nose is dark and thoughtful and seduces with its aromas of black fruits and notes of pepper and spice. Blueberry and blackberry on the nose follow to a full, layered palate with flavors of dark plums and hints of powder, graphite and cocoa. The wine is focused and elegant, with freshness yet integrated acidity and fine tannins, adding to an exceptional structure. blackcurrant and milk chocolate remain in a silky finish. Vineyards installed in red soils derived from brown or crystalline limestones, with red shale patches, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with high thermal amplitudes and hot and dry summers. After the interventions in
necessary during the vegetative cycle, the grapes were harvested manually and transported to the cellar in small boxes. Clear citrus wine, aromas of tropical fruits, apricot, lemon and mandarin with floral notes, in a fresh, complex and structured set with a persistent finish. Contains Sulfites.

The grapes, from our Quinta da Cabreira, in - Douro Superior, were transported in food plastic boxes and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. It aged in French oak barrels, where it remained for about 16 months. With a rich ruby color, with an excellent aromatic expression that surprises on the nose for the intense floral notes, well integrated with aromas of ripe wild fruits and fine spice. In the mouth it starts in a harmonious way, evolving into a wine of great seriousness, where we find a compact structure, with fine texture tannins. Finishes elegant and with excellent presence. Contains Sulfites.
