50% of the stemmed grapes and 50% of the destemmed grapes fermented for 15 days at controlled temperatures between 20 and 23ºC, with little skin maceration. After fermentation, it was transferred to French oak barrels of several years where the malolactic fermentation took place and remained for 10 months. Unfiltered wine, subject to deposit. Early maturing variety with little color. This wine is characterized by the aroma of wild berries, balsamic and with some notes of tobacco. Delicate with an acidity in harmony with the elegance that appears in each tasting. A smooth wine, with a persistent but light finish. Contains sulfites.
BASTARDINHO Vinho Licoroso 40 anos
After very long years of aging the Bastardinho de Azeitão (Trousseau), this extraordinary nectar arrived from the Setúbal Peninsula. Aging in used wooden casks. Its fermentation was stopped by adding wine spirit, and it had a skin maceration of 5 months. Deep amber color with a well-marked green rim and red background. Extremely fruity aroma of almonds, hazelnuts, cloves, walnuts, figs, honey. Subtlety, elegance and great balance. Finess, freshness, softness, very elegant, excellent sugar/acidity ratio. Long end of test. Contains sulfites.

The Quinta da Pellada Alto was aged for 28 months in French oak use room. This is one of a trio of wines, this issue that owner Álvaro Castro has issued with old style labels as an exercise in terroir. This is a field mix of the highest plot (although in less than 10 meters - the differences are more in the soil); The House is the "most exposed" corner, with a different kind of soil; and the "49" is the middle pack. Its elegance makes it look lighter, but it is much more concentrated than the first taste would suggest. It has excellent fineness of the middle palate, full of flavor, well rolled and beautifully constructed.

Conceito Bastardo Red
Grapes harvested by hand and transported to the cellar in 20kg boxes, then stepped on foot in granite presses, without destemming and without adding yeast. As soon as the alcoholic fermentation ends, the wine is transferred to stainless steel vats. Aging for 10 months in stainless steel vats. It has an aroma with very ripe strawberries and cherries, fresh leaves, aromatic herbs and spices. In the mouth it shows good definition and well-focused acidity, concentrated body, fine tannins and long finish. Complex, round, deep, a red that deceives the eye, with rosé color but with depth that belies visual impressions. Contains sulfites.
